RTM Halloween Show With Local H

Updated: Oct 11

Halloween With Local H Is The Show Of Shows And I've Seen Many! - Previously Published RTM Blog Post regarding Hispanic Voice Over Talent, Localized Spanish Translations & Custom Latino Post-Production Services.

This was the show of shows! And I've Seen Many!!!

Fan-Freakin-Tastic!!!!!

I first heard "Local H" in 1994 and have kept up with them ever since. If you don’t know of, or have never heard of Local H, they are Scott Lucas and Ryan Harding.

“Local H” date back to 1987. Starting as a four piece group and ending up as a two man power machine. Don’t be deceived by the fact that there are only two guys playing. Local H is as full sounding as any other band and sounds better than some five piece groups I’ve heard. We had a great time last night in what is a refurbished turn of the century vaudeville/movie theater.

What made the evening complete was that both, Scott and Ryan are so down to earth and interact with the audience. After the show, Scott and Ryan made the time to speak with us for a while.

SWEET!!!

That was Great! Truly!

NO EGOS!!! Below is a shot of Eric flanked by Scott and Ryan.

What made this even more special is the Bitter-Sweet fact;

El Paso continues to be a backwards town caught up somewhere in the 70s and 80s. Due to this sad fact, we were in a small venue with a capacity of 300 and only 20 but less than 25 people were in the audience (that's including the venue staff).

What a surprisingly disappointing turn out for the band, I’m certain. However, they were asked with less than 24 hours notice, to fill in for the group that was originally slated to play that evening. They were on the road to another gig and El Paso wasn't too far off their route.

On the flip side, this was almost a personal show for us. It WAS, as if they were there playing just for us. This was the most personal show I’ve ever attended. We were able to film the entire show and will be sending it off to Scott and Ryan after we finish the edits and render the final cut. I’ll then find out if they’ll allow us to post it on this Blog at the RTM Web Site. I don’t see a problem with that.

We’ll see you guys again when we return to Chicago. You can count on it!
